If an owner has more than one lot in the community, can they be combined them into a single lot?

An owner with multiple contiguous lots may combine them into a single lot with Buncombe County for county records, taxes, and addressing; however, under the Avery Park governing documents, combining lots does not reduce the number of assessable lots.

For example, an owner with three contiguous lots may combine them with Buncombe County, but would still be responsible for the annual general assessment on all three assessable lots. For 2026, the annual general assessment is $1,470 per assessable lot.
