Our mailman of many years, Jim Funicello, is retiring.  His last day will be Friday, May 26.  Let’s show him some Avery Park love with a nice sendoff!  We’re having a mailbox decorating contest ~ think signs, balloons, artwork to say congratulations, happy retirement, thank you, good luck, etc.  The prize will be homemade chocolate chip cookies!!!  Judging will take place between 11:00 am and 4:00 pm on the 26th.  Any appreciation that you’d like to show Jim on the inside of your mailbox will not be part of the judging.
