Trail Lovers,

Let’s plan to do some trail work on Saturday, October 7, from 9am to noon.  The guys doing the tree trimming along our roads have left us a pile of chips that we can spread along both trails, especially where there’s bare dirt or high roots.  The pile looks intimidating but the chips are very lightweight.  Meanwhile, the strongest among us can work on log steps up the steep hill beyond the stream we crossed on the Evergreen Trail the last time.  And, believe it or not, there’s still plenty of invasive oriental bittersweet lurking around, but hopefully not for too much longer!
